FAQ
Questions, answered.
How does weighted voting actually work?
Each vote gets a multiplier based on the voter's plan tier — Free ×1, Basic ×2, Pro ×5, Enterprise ×10. Damper sums votes × weight into a demand score and sorts your roadmap by it, so features your best customers want float to the top.
Do my users need a Damper account to vote?
No. Your public roadmap and widget are yours — visitors vote with just an email. Tier weights come from how you tag or import customers, not from them signing up anywhere.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime, from the dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately through Stripe and are prorated; downgrades apply at the end of the billing period. Your data stays put either way.
What counts as a feedback item?
Every submission through the widget, Slack or the dashboard — a bug report, idea or feature request is one item. Comments and votes on existing items are always free.
Is the AI execution tied to a specific coding agent?
No. Damper exposes a hosted MCP server over HTTP, so any MCP-compatible client works — Claude Code, Cursor, or your own tooling. One URL, one API key, no local install.
